The purpose of Generation One is to equip and empower those that have graduated from high school as they transition into adulthood, as well as those already in a college/career lifestyle. We are committed to see this generation rise and walk in excellence as they serve their King. This is a great day of God's visitation, and we know that leaders are being formed today! Generation One, as a ministry of Mt. Zion Church, has a desire to help this generation see the connection between themselves and God. We are more than just entertainment Christianity; we are young adults, 18 and older, with real issues that are searching for a spiritual life that impacts our natural world. The passion of Generation One is directing people to the abundant life we have been given in Christ (John 10:10).

Rich Nowik, Generation One minister, aspires to help college students and young professionals see their place in this life as Christians. It is time for this generation to rise up in the midst of everything that is happening in our world today... to unite... to grab hold of everything God has for them. "This is the time of the Jacob generation, those that will seek the face of God, (Ps 24:6) a people who will go into the Promised Land, defeat their giants and live victoriously before their God." The services are relevant to the issues of this generation without missing out on the Word and the worship, is about a heartfelt, lively expression of our devotion. We want to see young people living the life God intended. Generation One meets on Sunday nights at 6:00pm at The District.
